CDS Thiruvananthapuram announces Integrated MPhil PhD in Applied Economics Admission 2016

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Delhi invites applications for admissions to Diploma in watershed Management for the academic year 2016- 17.

Diploma in watershed Management is conducted by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

=> Master’s Degree in any subject: Those awaiting results of the qualifying exam may also apply. Such candidates, if selected, will be allowed to join the Program only if their previous institutions certify that they have completed all requirements for award of degree

=> The name of such candidate shall stand automatically removed from the rolls of the Centre & University if he/she fails in Master’s Program, when his/her results are announced

Application Procedure:

Application form can be downloaded from official website of IGNOU: www.cds.edu

=> Application Fee of Rs.300/- as a DD taken only from State Bank of India (SBI) or State Bank of Travancore (SBT) drawn in favour of the CDS, payable at Trivandrum

=> The Application Fee is Non-refundable; for SC/ST & PwD (with ≥ 40% disability) applicants are exempted from payment of the application fee
Duly filled application form along with self-attested copies of above documents should be sent to "Academic Program Office, Centre for Development Studies, Ulloor, Medical College P.O,

=> Thiruvananthapuram-695011 (Kerala) with the superscription over the cover ‘Application for Integrated MPhil/PhD Program-2016" on or before 15th April 2016

Fee Details:

i. Tuition Fee: Rs.120/- per semester

ii. JNU Registration/Enrolment Fee: Rs.5115/- (One time fee)

Application Fee of Rs.300/-

All students will be provided Hostel Accommodation on a shared basis. There are hostels for men and women in the campus. CDS hostel rent is Rs.250/- per person per month which includes charges for electricity and water

• Last Date of Submission of Application Form: 15th April 2016
• Date of Examination Diploma in watershed Management 2016: 22nd May 2016 (from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon)
• Date of Written Test & Personal Interview at CDS Trivandrum on: 01st July & 15th July 2016
• Selected candidates must join the Programme on: 01st August 2016
