Dr Rajan Makkar joined Gateway Education in the year 2010 as Director of our Hotel School. He has a Doctorate degree in Hotel Management. He is a double graduate from IHM , Panipat and Delhi University and has also done a MBA in Tourism and Hospitality Management. He has a rich industry as well as academic experience of twenty-one years in the same sector. He has given numerous insightful talks on Radio on Careers in Hospitality, its relevance and other related issues.

He is also an accomplished author of the two academic text books written for Higher secondary Education Board Of Nepal for grade 11th and 12th , entitled “Hotel Management- A Promising Career”. He has a wide experience of organising international hospitality events from concept-building to widespread execution and has successfully organised many such events under his guidance and leadership. He has formed various strategic and collaborative associations with numerous hotel companies and placement agencies overseas for the better placements and guidance of Hotel School Graduates.
