Law Department was established in 1969 as the first Department of law in the State of Haryana to impart legal education and to conduct original and fundamental research in the contemporary areas of law and allied subjects. Since its inception, very renowned, eminent and outstanding scholars have headed the Department.
The prime objective of the department is to achieve academic excellence in research and to inculcate & promote the legal education. The department has achieved the place as a centre of national & international legal research and studies, in which the students, lawyers, judges, government officials and academicians have been participating.

=> Teaching Classrooms – 8 having dimension -3 bay
=> smart class rooms (with) projector
=> Separate common rooms for Boys & Girls.
=> Moot Court room for LLB students.
=> Facility of Computer Lab, with Internet facility and online library.
=> Medicalservices are available at University Health centre.
=> For sports activities, University play ground is available for students, apart from this, facility of swimming pool and well equipped gymnasium is also there.
