Doctor of Medicine in Community Medicine is a three-year postgraduation course. It is a branch of medicine that is concerned with the health of the members of a community, municipality, or region. The course prepares students to recognize the health needs of the community and carry out professional obligations ethically and in keeping with objectives of the national health policy.
