Building Technology Centre was established in 1994 by HUDCO and functions under the aegis of Anna University Chennai. Building Technology Centre develops and propagates building materials and methodologies, which can reduce the construction costs using Nationally Acknowledged Modern Technologies and scientifically established methods.The centre also creates awareness about the need for good quality in building construction.Dr.K.P.Jaya, Associate Professor of Civil Engineering, is currently the Executive Director of the Centre.
