Since IBSAT is often conducted in a home-proctored format, candidates must have a laptop/desktop with a working webcam and microphone. The system must run Windows 7 or above (Mac is generally not supported for the test launcher). A stable internet connection with a minimum speed of 512 kbps is required. Candidates must remain in a quiet, well-lit room alone throughout the 120-minute duration. Using mobile hotspots is discouraged due to potential signal drops, and the use of calculators or external study materials is strictly prohibited.
