An on-screen calculator is strictly only available during the Data Insights section; it is disabled for the Quantitative Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning sections. Regarding scratch work, you are not allowed to use your own paper or pens. You will be provided with a laminated 'Noteboard' (5-double sided pages) and a non-permanent wet-erase marker. If you run out of space, you must raise your hand and exchange your full noteboard for a clean one. For the Online GMAT, you must purchase a specific type of physical whiteboard (maximum 12 x 20 inches) or use the on-screen digital whiteboard.
