If a candidate chooses to appear for both MICAT-I (held in December) and MICAT-II (held in February), MICA will automatically consider the better of the two total scores for the final shortlisting. This allows students to treat the first attempt as a trial or to improve their performance if they didn't meet the cutoffs initially. Note that separate registration fees are required for each attempt.
