If two or more candidates secure the same total marks, NTA follows a specific tie-breaking hierarchy to determine the All India Rank (AIR). The priority is given to candidates with higher marks in specific sections in this order: 1. Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, 2. Logical Reasoning, 3. Language Comprehension, and 4. General Awareness. If a tie still persists, the candidate older in age is given a higher rank.
