The MAH-MBA CET counseling is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, and follows a centralized process. After the exam, candidates register online for counseling, fill in preferences of colleges, and undergo document verification. Seats are allotted based on MAH-CET rank, category reservation, and seat matrix. The process includes multiple rounds: Round 1, Round 2, and a Mop-Up round for vacant seats. Candidates can participate in upgradation in subsequent rounds. There is also a CAP (Centralized Admission Process) for government and government-aided colleges, while private unaided colleges may have their own separate admission procedures but often participate in CAP.
