TS ICET may be conducted in multiple sessions to accommodate a large number of candidates. If conducted in more than one shift, normalization procedures are applied to ensure fairness across different sessions. Statistical methods are used to adjust scores so that candidates from comparatively tougher sessions are not disadvantaged. The normalization formula considers average performance and distribution of marks in each session. Final ranks are prepared based on normalized scores to maintain uniform evaluation standards.
