Primary answer
Mock tests are extremely important for CAT preparation. They help simulate the actual exam environment, improve time management, and identify strengths and weaknesses. Serious aspirants typically attempt 20–40 full-length mock tests before the exam. However, merely taking mocks is not sufficient; detailed analysis of each mock is crucial to understand mistakes, improve accuracy, and refine strategy for each section.
