A unique feature of MAT is that the 'Indian & Global Environment' (GK) section is not included in the calculation of the final Composite Score or the overall percentile. The Composite Score is derived from the performance in the first four sections only: Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis & Sufficiency, and Intelligence & Critical Reasoning. Most business schools use this Composite Score for shortlisting, though some may still review the GK score during the final personal interview stage.
