A GMAT score is valid for 5 years from the date of the exam. Regarding retakes, you can take the GMAT up to 5 times within a rolling 12-month period and a maximum of 8 times in your lifetime (across both the classic and Focus editions). You must wait at least 16 days between any two attempts. If you achieve a perfect score of 805, you are not permitted to retake the exam for another 5 years. It is also important to note that Indian students can take the exam in two formats: at a designated test center or as an online-delivered exam.
