Primary answer
Aadhaar is commonly used as a valid identification document during the NEET UG registration process, but it is not strictly mandatory in all cases. Candidates can also use other government-approved identity proofs such as a passport, voter ID card, PAN card, or driving license. However, Aadhaar is recommended because it simplifies the identity verification process and reduces discrepancies during registration.
