Mathematics is not mandatory as a subject in Class 11 and 12 to be eligible for IIM Indore IPM. Students from all streams — Science, Commerce, and Arts — can apply, provided they meet the minimum percentage and age criteria. However, since the IPMAT exam includes a strong Quantitative Ability section, candidates without a mathematics background are advised to prepare rigorously in arithmetic, algebra, and logical reasoning topics at the Class 10–12 level.
