Yes, CAT has negative marking for MCQs. For each correct answer, +3 marks are awarded, and for each incorrect MCQ, -1 mark is deducted. However, there is no negative marking for TITA (Type In The Answer) questions. Unattempted questions do not attract any penalty. Therefore, candidates must attempt MCQs carefully while maximizing attempts in TITA questions without fear of negative marking.
