Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) are engineering institutes that receive funding from the Government of India and accept JEE Main scores for admission. These include institutions such as the Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), and several other specialized technical institutes. Along with National Institutes of Technology (NITs), these institutions participate in the JoSAA counseling process for seat allocation. Admission to these institutes is based on JEE Main rank, category reservation, and seat availability.
