Candidates must be Indian citizens and hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD candidates). Students in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply provisionally, provided they complete their degree with the required marks by the time of admission. There is no upper age limit for the exam, and the minimum age is generally 21 years. Work experience is not mandatory.
