KMAT (Karnataka Management Aptitude Test) is a state-level entrance examination conducted for admission into MBA, PGDM, and MCA programmes offered by AICTE-approved management colleges in Karnataka. The exam is conducted by the Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA). KMAT scores are accepted by a large number of private unaided institutions across Karnataka for management quota seats. It provides an alternative to other entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, and state-level exams for MBA admission.
