KMAT (Karnataka Management Aptitude Test) is a state-level management entrance examination conducted by the Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA). It is held for admission to MBA, PGDM, and MCA programmes offered by more than 170 AICTE-approved private colleges in Karnataka. KMAT provides a common testing platform for private institutions and does not apply to government colleges or universities that conduct their own entrance exams such as PGCET.
