The CAT application process is conducted online through the official website. The notification is usually released in July or August, and registration remains open for approximately 4–6 weeks. Candidates must create a login ID, fill in personal, academic, and work experience details, upload scanned photographs and signatures, and pay the application fee. The application fee is typically around Rs. 2400 for General/EWS/OBC candidates and Rs. 1200 for SC/ST/PwD candidates (subject to change). Candidates can select preferred test cities during registration.
