PU MET does not announce a fixed predefined cutoff before the exam. The effective cutoff varies each year depending on factors such as number of applicants, difficulty level of the exam, and seat availability. After the written test, candidates are shortlisted for GD and PI based on merit. The final cutoff for admission is determined by the composite score (written test + GD + PI) and is published in the merit list. Cutoffs also differ across MBA specializations and categories (General, SC, ST, OBC, PwD, etc.).
