MICAT is a computer-based test (CBT) lasting 2 hours and 15 minutes (135 minutes). It is divided into three mandatory sections: Section A (Psychometric Test) with approximately 150 questions to be completed in 30 minutes; Section B (Descriptive Test) with 4 subjective questions (Essay, Story writing, and Arguments) in 25 minutes; and Section C (Aptitude Test) which contains 70-80 objective questions across four sub-sections: Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, General Awareness, and Divergent-Convergent Reasoning, to be completed in 80 minutes. Navigation is only allowed within the sub-sections of Section C.
