To be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) program at Sir J.J. School of Art, candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination or an equivalent 10+2 examination from a recognized board such as Maharashtra State Board, CBSE, ICSE, or any equivalent board approved by authorities. Students from any stream (Science, Commerce, or Arts) are eligible to apply. However, admission is primarily based on performance in the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test for Art (MAH-AAC-CET), which evaluates the artistic aptitude and drawing skills of candidates. Applicants must register through the centralized admission process conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. Additionally, candidates must meet minimum qualifying marks in both the CET and their 10+2 examination as specified by the admission authorities.
