Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a UGC-recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD candidates as per AICTE guidelines). The degree must be of at least three years’ duration. Final-year undergraduate students can apply provisionally, provided they submit proof of graduation before the program starts. There is no upper age limit for MBA programs in Uttar Pradesh. Some private institutions may consider work experience as an advantage but it is not mandatory. Candidates must also have a valid score in an accepted entrance exam (e.g., CAT for IIM Lucknow, XAT/CAT/GMAT for IMT Ghaziabad).
