PU MET is conducted in offline (pen-and-paper) mode. The paper typically consists of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) carrying 1 mark each, making a total of 100 marks. The sections generally include: (1) General Knowledge, (2) Economics & Business Environment Awareness, (3) Data Interpretation & Problem Solving, (4) Numerical Ability, and (5) Verbal Ability/Reasoning. Each question has four options with only one correct answer. There is negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect response. The duration of the exam is 2 hours.
