Each correct answer in CAT carries +3 marks. For MCQs, an incorrect answer results in a penalty of -1 mark. There is no negative marking for TITA (non-MCQ) questions. Unattempted questions do not attract any penalty. The raw scores obtained are later scaled and normalized to account for variations across different test slots.
