After the exam, the organizing institute releases a provisional answer key on the official GATE website. Candidates can challenge any answer they believe is incorrect by submitting objections with supporting evidence within the specified time frame. A nominal fee per question is charged for submitting a challenge. All valid challenges are reviewed, and the final answer key is published, which is then used to calculate scores.
