KMAT Karnataka itself is only an entrance test and does not independently implement reservation policies. Reservation rules depend on the admitting institution and whether the seat falls under management quota or institutional quota. Government quota seats in Karnataka generally follow state reservation norms (SC, ST, OBC, Category I, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B, etc.) as per Karnataka Government rules, but these are usually filled through Karnataka PGCET. For KMAT-based admissions in private colleges, reservation may be limited or as per institutional guidelines. Candidates must verify reservation applicability directly with the respective college.
