NTA's role ends with the declaration of the CMAT result and the All India Merit List. There is no common centralized counseling for CMAT. Candidates must apply individually to their target B-schools using their CMAT scores. Most colleges follow a three-step selection process: 1. Shortlisting based on CMAT percentile, 2. Group Discussion (GD) or Group Exercise (GE), and 3. Personal Interview (PI). Some institutes also conduct a Written Ability Test (WAT).
