The TANCET MBA syllabus covers five major areas: (1) Business Situations – questions test decision-making skills in real-life business scenarios; (2) Reading Comprehension – passages followed by questions to assess comprehension ability; (3) Quantitative Ability – arithmetic, algebra, geometry, percentage, profit & loss, time & work, ratios, and data interpretation; (4) Data Sufficiency – analytical reasoning to determine whether given data is sufficient to answer a question; (5) English Usage – grammar, vocabulary, sentence correction, synonyms, and antonyms. The level of questions is generally comparable to other state-level MBA entrance exams.
