The CAT score is valid for only one admission cycle. This means the score obtained in a particular year can be used for admissions to MBA/PGP programs commencing in the immediate next academic year only. For example, a CAT 2025 score will be valid for admissions in the 2026–28 MBA/PGP batch. Candidates cannot use an old CAT score for future admission cycles and must reappear for the exam if they wish to apply again in subsequent years.
