CAT scores are used primarily for admission to the two-year full-time Post Graduate Programme (PGP) or MBA programs offered by IIMs. Some IIMs also use CAT scores for Executive MBA (for eligible candidates), Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) shortlisting (in some cases), and other specialized management programs. Each IIM offers different specializations such as Finance, Marketing, Operations, HR, Business Analytics, and Strategy.
