Assam University, Silchar Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Objective: The Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering shall produce undergraduates to apply other knowledge for enhancing the Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering of the region as well as in the country. It will also put a stress on research, and self produce research workers and technical teachers as well. It has the endeavour to harness the Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering potential of North Eastern States. Students will have to accomplish in-house projects and assignments. Apart from academics, co-curricular activities, sports and cultural development will also form an important part in the life of the students and shall be given due impetus.
