Since its establishment on 21st July, 1969, Bijni College has seen considerable growth and success. It is my privilege to be the witness of the journey of Bijni College since 1987 while I was a student of the college. In Course of time, I was honoured to be the teacher and presently the principal of this premier and prestigious institution in the district of Chirang, BTAD, Assam. Provincialised in 23rd Dec, 2005, the college is also successfully running both science and arts streams besides the branches of distance mode courses under IDOL and KKHSOU.
