Mathematics is one of the elective subjects offered by this university under the new semester system of the BA Programme of this university. This subject is offered for pass course only. Mathematics is of central importance to modern society. Mathematics is the key to our understanding of the physical world. Now-a-days, Mathematics is the most powerful instrument of knowledge. The essence of Mathematics is not to make simple things complicated but to make complicated things simple. The introduction of Mathematics at degree level will be an added opportunity for the learners taking Economics as major. 20% marks in each course shall be for Home Assignment as indicated.
