Prithvi Chand Vigyan College, Jai Prakash Vishwavidyalaya, Chapra was established in 1971 and affiliated to Jai Prakash University. Established in 1971, by the dedicated efforts of Sri Mahashay ji, Sri Prithwichand ji, Sri Ramnath ji, Sri Dinanath Prasad, Sri Gopal ji Gupta and Prof Bhagwan Prasad, PC VIGYAN. MAHAVIDYALAYA became a constituent unit of BRA Bihar University in 1980. In 1992 it came under the prestigious Jai Prakash University, Chapra. Situated in the heart of the Chapra town, in Kataharibag PC Science College is widely recognized as a center for excellence for bachelor degree.
