Located in Bahera College is dedicated to provide good education along with proper maintenance of social ethics , respect towards social and humanity.The vision of Bahera college is to provide good and healthy environment where students get their mental and physical growth towards our traditional value, character, kindness and best education.The expectation of college from their students are that they will adopt all the value ethics, kindness, good attitude and maintain the dignity of their college., In the development of mithlanchan, People from Bahera has been giving their all efforts. They are given their mental and physical strength for the development but at the same time they were concern about their children education, how would they provide proper education to their children? It was a very important point to be thought. In past, few important personalities has tried to overcome this problem but failed. When Bahera block has been converted into Sub-division,then for the development of this region one more try has been done to develop proper infrastructure for the students. So,on 2nd July 1979 in the presence of Dr.Ramakant Jha( Prof. Electronic department,B.H.U) along with local residents and few intelligent names along with experience persons, Bahera college proposal has been produced., Ordinance has passed and Bahera got its own College in their region. From the support of all hardworking personalities, Bahera region got its college and its infrastructure were developed within few months., For proper functioning of the College, committee has been developed, and their members were President , Shri Shubhash Chandra Sinha, Block development Officer Benipur, Shri.Surendra Prasad Singh, Medical officer bahera and Representative Shri. Harishchandra Jha ‘Nawada’. Prof. Achutanand Upadhaya ‘Darbahnga was the 1st principal of that college, On 15th August 1979, in the presence of Teachers,officers and residents, Principal has inaugurated the college. In starting along with Principal there were 14 Teachers, 4 Research assistant, 2 Office staff and around 100 students have been started the working of college. On 20th August 1979, College classes has been started and University Officers had inspected the infrastructure and other facilities and for approval, the request had been sent to Govt., In 1984,Temporary affiliation for Commerce & Arts had given from Bihar Govt. Again In 1995,with the efforts of Shri.Abdul Bari Siddiqui, Bahera got affiliation in Arts & Commerce.
