Women's Training College was established in 1951. Earlier, there was no provision for preparing competent female teachers for teaching in the schools of Bihar. The major step towards women's empowerment was taken by the Government of Bihar to establish a separate college for preparing female teachers for teaching the children and the adolescents who were destined to impart relevance and useful education to build the nation which had attending independence from the foreign rule in 1947.The year 1951 can be considered as a milestone is the field of teaching boys and girls who were looking forward to achieve proper education to build the nation.About 10 years after, a site was selected and after the building was handed over to the college to shift itself where we are sitting.
