The field of jewelry designing is constantly progressing and expanding, and imperatively requires highly imaginative and discerning jewelry designers in a large number every year. This bachelor’s degree program in jewelry design lasting for three years offers requisite knowledge and skills for designing jewelry items as per the traditional and contemporary requirements and trends. The areas dealt with during this course are history of jewelry designing, creative and aesthetic jewelry design, metal working techniques (used by metal smiths), gemology, stone-setting, computer-aided jewelry designing, 2D & 3D design, jewelry presentation techniques, glass-working, color theory, enameling, jewelry repairing, etc. Eligibility
12th: Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate examination (10+2).
