Christ College (Jagdalpur), was founded in 2001 by Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), with a view to blend sacred and secular education. It is a self-financing religious minority institution for higher education affiliated to Bastar Vishwavidyalaya, Jagdalpur. CMI is the first indigenous religious congregation in India with a membership of more than 2000. It renders service to humanity in educational, social, healthcare and other fields aiming at integral development.
