For MHT-CET quota seats reservation is applicable as per the norms mentioned on the DTE's website.
The eligibility criteria for reserved candidates would be 40% in PCM, provided that the candidates produces the caste certificate and caste validity certificates, wherever applicable, at the time of admission.
Undergraduate programs Admissions
* Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha’s Cummins College of Engineering For Women, Nagpur is approved by AICTE and affiliated to ‘Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University'.
* College follows admission rules laid down by ‘Director of Technical Education’, Maharashtra state.
* Details of centralized admission procedure is available at www.dte.org.in.
* As per the rule, 80% seats of every course are filled by centralized admission procedure. Out of 80% seats, 65% seats are filled on the basis of Maharashtra government entrance exam (MHCET) while 15% seats are filled on the basis of AIEEE score.
* 20% seats are filled at institute level.

Tests & Examinations
* Tests are held for Internal Assessment as per university RTMNU norms.
* Exams are also conducted to help students prepare for the university exams.
* Minimum for pass for declaration and classification of results
* Candidates are expected to pass in all subjects of each semester. Details are given in the RTMNUsyllabus booklet.
The department is equipped with advanced lab facilities catering not only for university requirement but beyond RTMNU syllabus. Various types of labs are: Microcontrollers Lab, Hardware Description Language Lab, Advanced Communication Lab, Microprocessor Lab, Analog Electronics Lab, Logic Design Lab, Digital Signal Processing Lab and Analog Communication + LIC Lab. All our faculties and lab instructors take keen interest to impart experimental knowledge to the students.
