Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering The Department was started during the academic year 2002-2003. The scope of Electronics and Instrumentation engineers is tremendous. They have wide range of fields where they can seek employment. The Openings are in Electric power generating stations, Refinery Industries, Manufacturing Industries, Infrastructure projects, Computer software, Hardware and Automation, etc. In fact the entire instrumentation systems may be considered being the eyes and ears of the industries. There are plenty of opportunities for the Electronics and Instrumentation Engineers, have abundance of opportunity in the following companies in and around Tamilnadu and in overseas. Some of the companies are Chettinad cements corporation ltd., TNPL, TCS, CTS, HCL – Automation, L&T – Automation, Madras Cements Limited, Flsmidth, Indian Cements Limited, Siemens, and many.
