The department of Physics was established in the year 2008-2009 affiliated to the Periyar University, Salem.The Department offers a three year B.Sc., Degree course in Physics. The department imparts quality education with hands on experience to fit into the various scientific companies and research centres etc. The students are taught about recent advancements in this field through internet facility regularly. The ultimate aim of our department is to encourage the students to come up with their innovative ideas to utilize our fully equipped laboratory for the betterment of the society through this discipline.

DEPARTMENT ACHIVEMENTS
Students are participated in the international and national level seminar.
Industrial visit are arranged for the students to give them practical exposure, which is a part of their curriculum.

The students of the department have represented state and university level in many sports events.
