Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering The ECE Department was established in the year 2006 with an annual intake of 60 students, which was enhanced to 90 students from the year 2009. The Department has requisite number of faculty members, striving to incorporate excellence in theory and practice. The department has good infrastructural facilitates and is equipped with full-fledged laboratories. The department also has audio-visual facilities with LCD and OHP's for effective teaching. The staff members are deputed to participate in workshops, conferences, symposia and refresher courses to keep in pace with recent developments in the field of Electronics & Communications Engineering. Students of our Department actively participate in National Level Student Paper contests being conducted at various Engineering Colleges at different levels. Some of them have also been succeeded in these paper contests and even as a part of the curriculum, Industrial visits are arranged for students of B.Tech 3/4 (ECE) in II Semester. Further the Department organizes guest lectures by eminent faculties and engineers from government departments and private sector in areas of telecommunications, process control and embedded systems etc. The main thrust of ECE Department is to provide better quality education required by the present industry and train the faculty in new technologies periodically to equip themselves in the present global scenario.
