Diploma in Banking - NorthWest College for Advanced Learning, New Delhi

The diploma provides you with an understanding of the way in which financial intermediates and institutions operate, and the structure and functioning of financial markets. You will learn about the pricing of financial assests, and how and why corporations choose and issue various types of assests. The banking units provide information on precisely how financial intermediaries operate, both on a domestic and at the international level. Eligibility * To be eligible to register for a Diploma for Graduates, you must: * Hold a full first degree (at least a second class honours degree) completed in a minimum of three years duration on a full-time basis (or equivalent) from a university or other institution, acceptable to the University of London AND * Demonstrate that you have reached a level of competence in Mathematics at least equivalent to a pass at GCSE/GCE 'O' level in a Mathematical subject at Grade C or at least 70% marks in class XII (CBSE and other Indian Boards) AND * The applicant must have scored above 70% marks in English in Class XII (CBSE and other Indian Boards). If the applicant does not match this requirement then NWC and UOL require the applicant to pass International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with an overall score of at least 6 with a minimum of 5.5 in each sub-test or Test in English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a score of 580 (or 237 on the computerised test) plus the Test of Written English (TWE) with a score of 4.5 (or a Writing Rating of 4.5 in the computerised test) Please Note: Applicants holding professional and/or postgraduate qualifications without a full first degree cannot be considered for admission to a Diploma for Graduates.
