About Department : Electrical Engineering is one of the basic branches of Engineering. With rapid industrial growth, increase in demand of electric power is imminent. In view of this, new hydraulic and nuclear power plants are being setup and old ones are being modernized. Hence, requirement of enhanced manpower in this field is inevitable. The department has Electrical Machines, Power Generation, Transmission, Distribution, Utilization, Switchgear and Protection Laboratories with all necessary equipments and machines to explain fundamentals and impart adequate job skills.
