Eligibility: Graduates in Arts, Commerce, Law, Science, Engineering, Agriculture, any degree under 10+2+3 scheme with 50% marks in aggregate (for all three years including languges) and CAT, MAT, KMAT/PGCET scores.Those appearing final year degree exams may also applay.

FACULTY

This graduate programme in business management gives widespread exposure to modern management
and business administration spanning various arenas like Finance, Marketing, Administration, Human Resource
Management and Company Law along with practical training.

even to run one’s own independent business.
SCOPE AND PROSPECTS
This post graduate programme in Business Administration is a valuable qualification for those
interested in pursuing a fast track career in the corporate world. Unlike the family run enterprises
of the past, modern business houses today rely on trained professionals to manage their
organizations using tried and tested business models. Hence successful corporate executives are
highly in demand and draw good salary and perks and enjoy celebrity status.
The curriculum prescribed by Visvesvaraya Technological University comprises of twenty-
eight courses spread over four semesters. In addition, each student will undergo an
onsite Training (4 weeks) between the 2nd & 3rd semester and a summer Project
(6 weeks) between the 3rd & 4th semester.
Students can specialize either in Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management,
Information System Management, Banking Insurance, International Business or
Product Management. The program commences in August / September and exposes
the student to various teaching methodologies, case study, seminars, presentations,
role plays and industrial interactions in addition to lecture in order to prepare the
student for future success.
Library:
Libraries have been forced to undergo drastic changes during the last few years. While the traditional library was mainly a space for physical books and journals, the library of today has developed into a “world library” with access to enormous numbers of information sources. The ability to find, evaluate and use information is a skill that is rapidly becoming more important in the digital age. A student or researcher that has these skills gets significantly more value from their study and research.
