Department of Master of Business Administration The Department of Management Studies offers a two year MBA programme directing its all efforts towards the best of managerial education to the students. With the growing demand for high caliber candidates in business administration and entrepreneurship, the department emphasizes on soft skill development and all round personality enhancement. The highpoint of the MBA programme at Muthayammal Engineering College is the well rounded exposure by conducting seminars, conferences, forums and conventions in different fields like Finance, Human Resource, Marketing, Systems and Research Methodology to equip the students gain from their two year period of study. Apart from the rigors of a well structured theoretical regime, students also get experience in the latest happenings in the corporate world through the frequent Industry institute interaction. In order to get Industrial exposure, the Department arranges many Industrial Visits to the students. Evolution Of The Department MBA Department was started in the academic year of 2005-06. Marketing, Finance and Human Resource Management have chosen as the core electives. At present we are in the sixth batch. Faculty Strength The department is headed by a doctorate in Management. The department possesses two doctorates. Four faculties are pursuing Ph.D and they are in the submission stage. The departments possess experienced faculties in all functional areas of Management. Faculty Publications Our Faculty members have published some articles in the following Journals: ICFAI Journal of Organizational Behaviour. Journal of NISMA. ICFAI Journal of Business Strategy. Christ College Journal. Journal of contemporary Research in Management. Faculty Participation In International, National Level Seminars And Fdps Faculty presented more than 100 papers in National Level as well as International Level seminars and conferences. Faculty attended various Faculty Development Programmes organized by IIM-Kozhicode, NITTR and Jansons School of Business.
